The Welcome and Opening prayer
Lord Jesus Christ,
you comforted your disciples when you were going to die:
now set our troubled hearts at rest
and banish our fears.
You are the way to the Father:
help us to follow you.
You are the truth:
bring us to know you.

give us that life,

Reading
John 14 v 1-6

Do not let your hearts be troubled.
Trust in God; trust also in me.
In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so,

I am going there to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
You Know the way to the place where I am going."

Thomas said to him,

The Gift of Love

his span of years and gifts of character.

The Commendation and Committal
